Ratings and abuse prevention

A salted one-way identifier derived from request data helps limit duplicate votes and abusive submissions. Raw IP addresses are not stored in feedback or vote records.

Technical operation

Standard server logs may temporarily include request metadata needed for reliability, diagnostics and security.

Viewing market

An approximate country code supplied with the request may suggest a viewing market. We do not request precise device location.

Contact and submission details are used to review the request you made, verify evidence, moderate content and reply when needed. Technical and pseudonymous data are used to keep the service reliable, secure and resistant to manipulation.

Optional analytics are based on your consent. Operational processing is limited to what is necessary to provide the service, respond to your request and protect the directory. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time.

SofaStreams does not sell the contact details submitted through its forms. Information may be handled by infrastructure and moderation services needed to operate the site, or disclosed when legally required.

Google Analytics and Yandex Metrica load only after optional analytics consent. Disqus loads only when you choose to open a discussion. Those providers process data under their own privacy terms and may process information outside your country. Official platform links and cited sources are independent websites.

Feedback, platform suggestions, broadcaster suggestions, title-provider suggestions and pseudonymous rating records are automatically deleted no later than 24 months after creation or their latest update. Operational logs and backups use separate, shorter rotation schedules where practical.

We may retain a record for longer when reasonably necessary to resolve a specific rights claim, security incident or legal obligation.

You may ask for access, correction or deletion of personal information you submitted, object to or restrict certain processing where applicable, and withdraw optional analytics consent. We may need enough information to identify the relevant submission without exposing another person’s data.

SofaStreams does not currently operate a newsletter. Any future email updates will require a separate opt-in and include an unsubscribe mechanism; moderation emails will not be repurposed.
